We are an artisan couple in Squamish who create home decor using local and sustainable resources as much as possible.

There’s something special about working with wood and clay. When you hold the raw wood or clay in your hands you imagine what shape it will take and it has its own personality.

By the nature of wood and clay, no two objects are exactly the same. What you hold in your hands is a one-of-a-kind piece. Sometimes the flaws that are part of it are the most important part.

We hope that the piece you own becomes a part of your life and makes you smile.

A tree…..

Tossing in the breeze, glowing in the sunshine, bathing in rain showers, bending below the snow piled on their branches, drinking the dew, rejoicing in creation, bracing each other, sheltering the birds and beasts, the myriad insects.”

Emily Carr, Opposites Contraries: The Unknown Journals of Emily Carr and Other Writings

The Earth…..

Embrace this Earth. Earth is a potter’s playground. Hold its mud in your hands and dream. We need to cherish the Earth for the myriad of ways that it sustains us.

“To work with wood and clay is to feel what it wants to be even before it starts to form. You may think that you have a direction and it takes you on a totally different path. It’s like life in that there are surprises both positive and not so positive. It is a learning experience that we never tire of. “
